Bake Cookies - √

One of the simple things on our summer bucket list was "bake cookies".

I came across a recipe for Chai Spiced Sugar Cookies.  Chai tea is Matthew's favorite drink whether it's a hot chai tea or a chai latte or even dirty chai ..it really doesn't matter so long as it's chai.

Since we all were leaving for Mt. Tabor, but he was unable to go with us, I thought we'd make these cookies for him to enjoy as a little "thinking of you" while we were apart.

My eager helpers...

First the sugar and spices...

The rest of the ingredients in the mixer...

Break for a selfie...

Rolling the dough into balls and then into the spicy sugar mixture...

There is something about the smell of cookies baking that brings boys out of the woodwork...

Keeping it real!

Amazingly delicious, you must try them TODAY cookies!!

I know, because I cheated and ate one.  ;-)

The recipe makes about 3 dozen and they are quick to make: Mix, roll, bake.
See the link above for Chai Spiced Sugar Cookies for the recipe.

Enjoy!

  4. Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Before I was married, I was Carol B!

My grandmother lived on SE 57th Street and I remember the steps to Mt. Tabor.
