Bon Jour

I've had my eye on this painting for quite a while. 

 

I love that it is set in Paris. 

I love all the colorful flowers and how cheery they are on a drizzly day.

I love the couple on a walk through the streets, which reminds me of Eric and me, not that we've ever been to Paris, but we'd love to travel there someday.

But believe it or not, the biggest reason I love this painting is because I have the perfect place for it.

I knew it would be perfect in my laundry room. 

All the reds are the exact same shade as my washer and dryer.

Seriously!

 

Every time I went into this store I would check to see if they still had it.  There was this one and another painting that was similar, but I always came back to this one.  Each time I was very happy and relieved to see it still there, patiently waiting for me to buy it.  Some weeks it was even 20% off, tempting me even more, but I couldn't quite fit it into my grocery budget. Well, I could have, but things like meat, vegetables, milk, and toilet paper are kind of essential.

 

Guess what?

 

Just this week it was 30% off,

 and since I received a little birthday cash...

Every time I go into my laundry room, I smile.  I seriously just love this painting.
