It's that time of year again...hunting season. In addition to the salmon that Caleb caught this summer, we were hoping to add venison to the freezer too. Well, that didn't happen this year. There has been quite a bit of logging happening around us so I suspect they've been scared off. I'm a firm believer that hunting and fishing are NOT just about the catch, but the time spent together! Great time to sit and enjoy God's beautiful creation, great heart-to-heart talks, great memories - kind of like a custom father-son retreat.
