favorite moments

We recently attended a wedding.
The bride was beautiful, of course, and the details all lovely.

However, this post isn't about the wedding, but rather just one small, simple part of the reception that followed.  The Father ~ Daughter dance.
After the bride danced with her father, all the fathers were invited to join them on the dance floor with their daughters.
Those shared few moments with their Daddy made each of my girls feel just like a princess.
This was by far their favorite part of the night.

One, and two, and twirly, twirly, twirly.

They had such fun, that Mary and Abbie thought they should continue.

It's the little things that often get etched in the mind as a precious memory.
A Daddy who shows love by being available to talk, to help, to hug, to laugh...
to dance
is the kind of daddy my girls have.
There is a one of a kind bond between a father and a daughter.  It is a privilege to witness and a blessing to my heart.

  1. What a sweet memory was created! There is nothing like the bond between a father and daughter. It is so precious to see and these photos captured it.

Thanks for sharing on the Art of Home-Making Mondays! :)
