Which do you prefer?

Are you a stainless steel appliance person or a white appliance person? 

I know that currently all the rage for the kitchen is stainless steel appliances,

but when we replaced the dishwasher, we chose to go with white.

And...I know I am totally going against the grain because now all the appliances don't match. We have a stainless steel refrigerator and range, and white microwave and dishwasher. 

But, you know.  I am really happy with our choice.  I like how the white appliance blends in better with the cabinets.  I like how it does NOT look industrial and cold.  I like that it hides the dirt better instead of showing every single water droplet mark.  I also like that white appliances are less expensive than stainless steel ones.  :-) 

So, I have decided I am a white appliance person.  My husband is a whatever-makes-my-wife-happy appliance person.

I just thought you should know how we weigh in on this world-shattering debate.
